We strive in the Department of Anatomy and Embryology to present the latest advancements in this field through modern technology, including electronic tablets and plastic models, while elucidating all related material both theoretically and practically.

Description


The department was established alongside the founding of the college in the academic year 2015-2016 under the name Department of Anatomy and Embryology. It is one of the academic departments within the Faculty of Human Medicine at Zintan, responsible for teaching anatomy and embryology to first- and second-year students in the basic stage of their medical education.

Vision


Achieving the highest level in teaching anatomy and embryology to students of the Faculty of Human Medicine, as well as students from other colleges and various institutes at the University of Zintan.

Developing educational programs for postgraduate students, supported by appropriate research activities and led by the department's faculty members.

Engaging in community service through scientific research related to the environment.

Mission


Teaching anatomical sciences in an advanced and high-quality manner using modern educational technologies and defining educational objectives through periodic student assessments.

Advancing the study of anatomical sciences as a foundational discipline to benefit postgraduate students by participating in the development of the postgraduate curriculum.

Contributing to and supporting the improvement of medical education by conducting clinically relevant medical research to participate in patient care and community service.
